Naming ceremonies have become a popular alternative to a church Christening. They provide an opportunity to celebrate and welcome a new child into the world.

These ceremonies or rites of passage, cross all national, religious and cultural boundaries. They respond to community needs to publicly affirm the value of a new life within the security of your circle of family and friends.

Family relationships are deepened and parents, godparents, mentors or guardians become aware of their responsibilities and commitment to the child's development and welfare.

There are no legal requirements for a Name Giving Ceremony. Venue, date and time are of your choosing.
